*Czech glass beads have a rich history in the Czech lands. They are more than just decorative; they are a symbol of craftsmanship, tradition, and cultural heritage that has stood the test of time.
“Vinutky”: Unlike machine-made beads, which are cut from glass tubes or pressed into molds, lampwork beads, also known as “vinutky,” are handcrafted one by one. They are created by melting glass rods over a glassmaker’s torch at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1300 degrees Celsius, depending on the type of torch and glass used.
